so here I am. My computer y yo. This is where I’m finding comfort lately. Thanks in small medium part to this new-found love for blogging. I went from zero to 2, and unfortunately I’ve found that this leads to an increase in facebook time as well for some reason. I go to my computer to vent a little steam about whathaveyou, and then I end up paroosing facebook for a while. *sigh* what can you do. It actually turns out that I have highly addictive tendencies. TLC preys on this by playing REPEATING episodes of “Say YES to the Dress”. Which indeed I enjoy, but c’mon. I seriously WILL sit there and watch all six back-to-back episodes and then feel full of TV like how you feel full of turkey after a Thanksgiving feast. Uncomfortable and lazy and a full of regret. Anyways, something should be done about this addictive tendency of mine…or is it just laziness? I also CANNOT get out of bed before 9am. It’s more like noon. pff. You may not believe me, but no matter how hard I try, I just keep hitting the snooze inadvertantly and end up waking up at quarter to noon feeling uncomfortable, lazy, and you guessed it–full of regret. Well here I am, my computer and I, cuddling up to have a little heart-to-heart. thanks for the therapy. mwah.

This is a continuing list. But music “heals the soul” or so I’m told. I LOVE music, in a serious kind of way. It changes my mood, and has an incredible ability to move me–at my very core! And I’m pretty sure it has this effect on most people. (Which is also why crazy rockers are so crazy! They’re in love with music…and it shows through in their weirdness. IE: Jimmy Hendricks, ac/dc, need I say more? They are incredible….and a little weird! That’s why I love them.) But this isn’t MTV style, where just the videos count! Some of these are kick-ass songs. Youtube is a way to share them with you…even if the videos aren’t what make them great. 
1. AC/DC–It’s a Long Way to the Top if you Wanna Rock N Roll. This video shows AC/DC in their original glory days and it is outstanding.
2. We are the World–written and featuring MJ. Three words for this: classic classic classic.
3. K’NAAN–Wavin’ flag. Similar to the previous, it has a Haiti version where a bunch of (Canadian?) artists collaborated.
4. AC/DC–rock n’ roll ain’t noise pollution. My ALL-TIME FAVORITE band!! They seriously are the shit. Nothing compares to their awesomeness!!
5. Escape–I don’t even know who sings this, but it’s the sweetest song. And the stick figure animation with it just takes the cake.
6. ok, years later I found this one: Paramore–The only Exception. Ugh. Fantastic. and a cool music vid to match!

Whew. I made it!! This is my first blog post ever!! I suppose this is a waste of valuable space exclaiming about my accomplishment, but I dont care. I feel invigorated and free!! Will this make me less dependant on my boyfriend? possibly! A little less needy is always a good thing in females, right? right. Today is a great day.
